'Gluing up table tops and large panels often turns into a wrestling match between you and a group of clamps you're trying to keep upright and evenly spaced. Woodpeckers Xpander Clamp System was developed to work with most brands of parallel-jaw clamps and keep four clamps perfectly spaced, from side-by-side up to wide separation.

Adjusting clamp spacing is simple—slide the two outside clamps in or out and the linkage system keeps the middle clamps straight, upright and evenly positioned. Each model gives you the full range of your clamps. The clamping head can move from inside the bar holder to outside, and the bar holder itself adjusts 5'', eliminating dead spots and maximizing clamp capacity.

Working with your clamps held in an Xpander makes glue-ups smoother. The clamps stay locked vertically so they won't fall over. The clamping heads slide easily since the bar is supported. Spacing is automatic and the clamps sit elevated off the bench, making it easier to apply cauls or Woodpeckers Joint Bridges.

The linkage bars are powder-coated steel and the clamp holders are injection-molded polycarbonate with nylon feet that slide easily and won't mar your workbench. Set screws secure your clamps quickly, and you can leave them in the Xpander or pop them out individually. When the job is done, collapse the Xpander and store it standing or on a shelf—the assembly stays compact and organized.

The 2430 Xpander fits 24'' (600mm) – 40'' (1000mm) clamps and expands to 46'' edge-to-edge.
