The side-saddle, often called a face-on putter, provides a putting stroke that helps with the 'Yips' so common for older golfers. Originally made famous by 'Slammin Sam Snead,' the USGA initially claimed the side-saddle putter gave golfers too much of an advantage. It was later declared a conforming putter and allowed for USGA tournaments. The mallet side saddle putter lie angle is upright and complies with USGA Guidelines to allow usage in USGA events.
